Latin America: Jan 30-Feb3

January 30-February 3, the World Affairs Council will welcome an IVLP from Latin and South America on political transitions in the US.  This group will look at issues effecting local government on the transition on government after the 2012 election. The group will focus on issues surrounding ballot amendments, the length of the ballot, and transparency in government. The group will also be hosted for a WAC Embassy Nights reception on January 31 at the Embassy Suites Downtown Orlando from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

We welcome a delegation from Japan on the subject of Entrepreneurship. The delegation will be visiting the National Entrepreneur Center, UCF Technology Incubator, and National CEnter for Simulation. WAC Members and guests will have a chance to meet the group at a lunch event on Friday January 18th, downtown Orlando at 12:00pm. The group will also have home hospitality while in Orlando.

The World Affairs Council Annual Lunch 2013 will be December 10, 2012 at 12:00pm.  The location will be the Citrus Club (255 S. Accepting Spring 2013 Internship applications

The World Affairs Council is accepting applications for the Spring 2013 Internship Semester.  Students wishing to apply for a position within the Chastang Internship Program must follow the steps listed on the Chastang Internship Page. Applications will be accepted until December 10. Interviews will occur until December 15.  Spring Internships will start the following week.
