The Chastang Foundation Internship Program
WACCFL is a training ground for students looking at careers working with the
federal government, international affairs, or international business.
Internships at WACCFL are arranged 1 to 3 months in advance and can be very
rewarding. You will learn every aspect of the non-profit world, and also
learn basic protocol, logistics, and programming knowledge. Requirements
need to be met in order to apply for an internship. Internships are not paid
and will only provide for travel stipends. Interns must reside in the Central
Florida area during the entirety of the internship. All internships include a trip
to a Regional Conference or Washington DC (depending on federal funds)
Requirements:
A. Must be a Junior, Senior or above enrolled at a university
B. Must be applying for the internship through an internship program and receiving credit
C. Must be available for two full days during the week. (i.e Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday)
Please provide:
1. Introduction email including a resume and recommendation letter from a college
professor
2. Understanding of Intern Job Description
3. Submit application to info@waccfl.org (open link below for application)
4. Participation in an interview by: in-person, conference call, or Skype
Application Deadlines:
Spring Semester – November of previous year
Summer Semester – mid-April
Fall Semester – end of July
*Summer 2012 Internships will be accepted for students wishing to intern Tuesday-Thursday only.
